BIEBER FEVER

Apparently Justin Bieber had a book signing yesterday at the trade union directly across from out flat. As I was walking to the gym (first YMCA in the world, by the way...NBD) I saw the 14 year-olds of London lined up outside the building. I had no idea why they were there; perhaps a field trip or something. A couple hours later as I was coming home, they were still all there......still. It was cold. I passed some GLSers and found out about the Bieber event. Automatically rushed upstairs to see the view from flat 8's window.
I'm telling you... so many people! It appeared to be getting close to Justin's ETA. Obviously we rushed outside to join in the excitement! It was a frenzy of cameras, screaming girls, and police officers trying their best to maintain order. Several vehicles pulled up (Range Rovers in the beginning) and everyone ran and screamed whenever a car door or window was opened. Too many times it wasn't actually him. False alarms. The energy was still fun though! I and my fellow GLS girls got shamefully into it... We may or may not have chanted "we want Justin" several times. Oops?

The pop star at last emerged from a Mabach amidst several other big cars and bodyguards. Our boys got the closest, and one snapped this beaut of a photo.
Now, although I find Justin Bieber to be a complete tool (I mean...look at this picture...), it was still very exciting to be a part of all this! Highlight of the day for sure. I'm also sure my gal pals have some embarrassing photos of me post-gym and screaming like starstruck teen (guilty), but it's all part of the experience! Just another day in London town!!

Cheers!
