One week ago today, I was packing up my room in Flat 16

The time had drearily come to say goodbye to London. We'd already celebrated for our final days with coworkers, made some last minute stops around the city, taken a trip to nearby Ireland, and weeped over our empty suitcases... avoiding the fact they would soon have to be full.

It took a lot of strength to pack up, both mentally and physically. Seriously, how much stuff did I buy?? We cried about all the London memories and said we can't wait to reunite in August. Discussions of Chick Fil A and Moe's made us a little more excited to be home, but nothing really trumps walking to Buckingham Palace for the Changing of the Guards or strolling past Big Ben on your way to Millennium Bridge. Little London things we've taken for granted for so long are coming to an end...

After the packing and reminiscing, crying and laughing, we finally dispersed on Thursday morning. I've been traveling around Europe with Sydney, Rob, and Alan. Honestly couldn't pick a better group.

More photos and stories to come later, but it's day 7 of the trip and we've seen Berlin, Munich, Bamberg, and Marseille. Drove on the German autobahn and finally got to use my Minimal French knowledge. I'm currently posting from out hostel in France.

After 30 hours of being awake and an overnight train, we climbed to the top of Notre Dame de la Guarde and have at last accomplished a nap

A couple photos!
